Handmade from English ash, this substantial end-grain chopping board brings the resilience of a traditional butcher’s block into a practical domestic size. The chequered grain and softly shaped ash frame make it a useful everyday tool and a distinctive piece for the kitchen.
The standard board measures 576 mm long × 276 mm wide × 60 mm thick. Both faces can be used. Handholds at each end make it easier to move and lift for cleaning, while the raised perimeter frames the working surface.
Each board is hand assembled and thoroughly oil finished before leaving the workshop. The end-grain working surface is chosen for hard wear and can be refreshed as it ages.
Personal engraving on the front or back is included at no extra cost. Choose engraving at checkout and we will contact you after ordering to confirm the wording, placement and style. Bespoke sizes are also available by enquiry.
