1. Seller and contact details

The seller is Marine & Offshore Furniture Ltd, trading as Neil Bespoke Furniture, a private limited company registered in England and Wales under company number 08520603. Our registered office is Cedar Lodge, York Road, Shiptonthorpe, York YO43 3PH. Our trading and contact address is St Lois Farm, High Lane, Sutton on Derwent, York YO41 4BY. 2. Products and classifications

Natural materials and handmade finishes can have reasonable variations in grain, tone and character. Measurements and images are described as accurately as reasonably possible, but screen colours can vary.

• Ready-to-buy standard goods and standard made-to-order goods using the sizes, colours or finishes advertised on the product page have normal online cancellation rights. Assembly or painting after order does not by itself make an item personalised.
• A product is treated as genuinely personalised only where it is clearly identified before purchase as being made to unique dimensions or specifications, or using a specially requested colour or finish outside the advertised range.
• Off-catalogue changes must be agreed through a separate bespoke quotation. Choosing an ordinary listed option does not silently convert a standard product into a personalised one.

3. Ordering and the contract

The basket and Checkout pages let you review the product, options, price and delivery charge before payment. An order is an offer to buy. A contract is formed when payment succeeds and we send the order confirmation email, unless the item is unavailable or there is an obvious pricing or description error. If we cannot accept an order, we will tell the customer and refund any payment.

4. Prices and payment

Prices are in pounds sterling and are the total product prices payable. Where VAT is applicable, it is included in the displayed price; no additional VAT is added at Checkout. Delivery charges are shown separately where applicable. Payment is processed securely through Stripe; Stripe's own terms and privacy information also apply to its hosted Checkout service.

5. Bespoke approvals and production

Where drawings, dimensions, samples or specifications require approval, the customer is responsible for checking them carefully. Timescales may depend on receiving that approval. For genuinely personalised goods, we offer a voluntary right to cancel for a full refund until we confirm in writing that production or committed material purchasing has begun. The date of that commitment is recorded with the order.

6. Delivery

Fixed-price online Checkout is for mainland Great Britain only. Delivery dates and lead times are estimates unless expressly agreed as binding. The customer must provide accurate access information and be available for an agreed appointment. Risk passes on delivery to the customer or a person identified by the customer. 7. Cancellation and returns

None of these provisions affects remedies where goods are faulty, damaged, misdescribed or not fit for purpose. See Delivery & Returns for instructions and the model cancellation form.

• For eligible standard goods, tell us that you are cancelling within 14 days after receipt, then return the goods within the following 14 days.
• The customer arranges and pays for suitable insured return transport for a non-faulty cancellation. The basic outbound delivery charge is refunded, but any extra paid for enhanced delivery is not.
• A reasonable deduction may be made for handling beyond what would be permitted in a shop. Refunds are made within the statutory deadline and may be withheld until the goods are returned or evidence of return is supplied.
• After the voluntary pre-production period, genuinely personalised goods cannot be cancelled merely because the customer changes their mind.

8. Faults and complaints

Inspect the goods when reasonably possible and contact neil@neilbespokefurniture.co.uk promptly with the order number, a description and photographs where useful. Delay in reporting does not remove statutory rights. We will provide the remedy required by law, which may include repair, replacement, a price reduction or refund.

9. Intellectual property

Website content, drawings, designs and photographs remain our intellectual property or that of their respective owner. Buying an item does not transfer design rights or permit commercial copying. Customer-provided material must not infringe another person's rights.

10. Liability

Nothing excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or breach of statutory consumer rights. We are not responsible for losses that were not reasonably foreseeable when the contract was made or for business losses suffered by a consumer.

11. Law and changes

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, without depriving a consumer of mandatory protections of the country in which they live. Consumers may bring proceedings in the courts available to them under applicable law. The version accepted at Checkout continues to govern that order even if the website is later updated.
