English Ash Boulangerie Bread Board, serving board and charcuterie board.
A perfect copy of an antique French breadboard found in a shop in Montmartre many years ago. Its shape was measured and a paper rubbing taken.
Originally designed around 1850/60, this board would make a stunning addition to a French country kitchen or a statement accent piece in any kitchen.
Created from English ash from a private estate, each board is handmade and finished. Dovetailed cross splines on the underside reinforce the board and help resist warping, a traditional detail not seen on modern boards.
The board has many uses: serve pizza, use it as a cheese platter, chopping board or prep board, or display it as a wall piece.
Hand-oiled, the board will take on a lovely patina with use for generations to come.
