Wardrobe Linen Press Armoire Chifforobe
This handmade linen press is made in English ash in my artisan workshop in York.
It features a top section with a hanging rail and top shelf, along with two lower drawers. The internal upper section is customisable, with options for shelves, long hanging or short hanging configurations.
The piece stands on solid ash hand-turned bun feet. The drawers are made in solid ash with dovetailed joints and full-extension soft-close runners. The main cabinet is made using traditional mortice and tenon construction.
All edges are softened or radiused, including the 30mm thick solid ash top with a soft full radius.
Finished in a smooth clear coat, the wardrobe also has a clear antibacterial finish that can be cleaned with a light damp cloth.
